Featured Project
The Cubs were looking for large video screens in both left and right fields, with more fan interaction and more advertising possibilities.
Daktronics has a great history and a reputation throughout major league baseball. But there were two huge challenges to Daktronics and Sievert Electric. One was that Wrigley Field is a national historic site, so everything had to be done under the requirements of the National Historical Society.
The other big challenge was that the entire construction timeline had to be accomplished in the off-season, so Sievert Electric and Daktronics worked on an accelerated time schedule and worked throughout the winter.
Wrigley Field now has state-of-the-art video display scoreboards, and the entire project was completed in the off-season and ready for opening day in April 2015.
