Sievert Electric Safety Policy

Sievert Electric’s commitment to safety is second to none. Our approach to safety begins with proper training and is a continuous process of improvement including weekly toolbox talks, monthly in-depth training and testing programs. The safety culture is not only ingrained in our field employees but in management and ownership as well. We believe that every accident is avoidable and our goal is zero accidents and injuries.

The following is a list of some of our key OSHA mandatory training courses:

  • Arc Flash Safety (also known as NFPA 70E training)
  • Fall Protection
  • Lockout/Tagout
  • Hazard Communication
  • Aerial Lift Safety
  • Process Safety Management
  • Portable Power Tool Safety
  • Lead and Asbestos Awareness
  • Crane Rigging

Our lead foremen in the field have completed “30-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)” training. They understand the importance of weekly Tool Box Talks and job inspections. Depending on the project we also have foremen who are “Competent Persons” trained in multiple areas including fall protection and confined space entry.

Sievert employees’ attitude and continued training are paramount to ensure the safety of our employees, sub-contractors, and our customers. The only successful project is one where everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.
